Bret Baier’s personal life is being exposed just after he decided to interview Donald Trump on Super Bowl Sunday.

During the sit down, the president discussed some of his new policy changes and the Department of Government Efficiency, which is led by Tesla founder Elon Musk. The interview stirred controversy as viewers speculated it was “edited” after an abrupt cut.

Now with a lot of attention on the segment, many are taking a closer look into the life of the Fox News host, which includes a deep dive into the life of his wife Amy.

According to Naples Illustrated, Amy was born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago. She is one of four children to Paul and Barbie Hills but the only sister of the bunch. Amy is also a twin.

She admitted growing up “surrounded by boys and sports” made her “always competitive and athletic growing up.”

Amy added: “It prepared me for my boys [sons].”

She first moved out of the Midwest when she attended Southern Methodist University in Texas. After graduating with a degree in communications, she worked as a media planner for Calvin Klein in New York City.

Amy switched careers after 9/11 and went into healthcare.

She said: “My lease soon ran out and I went back to Chicago to work in a neuroscience retail division at Eli Lilly. My family was in the healthcare business, so switching gears made sense.”

Despite not working for a fashion brand anymore, Amy is still a consistent figure in that realm. She is often seen sitting front row at runway shows for top brands like Chanel and Christian Dior.

Amy met Bret in September of 2001 after being set up on a blind date by one of her friends. She admitted to Country Magazine she went into the evening with doubts.

She said: “I’m not sure why they thought it would work, but they had a good feeling it would. They did warn me, though, to buckle up – that a life with Brett Baier would be an interesting ride.”

Bret eventually won her over.

“Bret was such a gentleman. He’s from Atlanta and has that southern charm. We’ve been together ever since,” she mentioned.

The couple have now been married for over 20 years and share two sons, Paul and Daniel, who she describes as “simple and sweet.”
